Back Seats for Alice's Caddy

Alice’s volkswagen Caddy served her well for years and when she found our her family was expanding she didn’t want to replace her beloved van that only carried two… So she asked us to help her create a solution.

So Alice bought some back seats online and Ant set about converting her Caddy Van into a Caddy car by adapting the original Volkswagen slider bases to work with the floor of the caddy, then attaching the seats to the slider bases. This allows the whole unit to be removed should she need to use the load area.  Welding in three point seatbelt fixtures, and modifying the floor of the van directly behind the front seats to reveal the footwells beneath. He then made and carpeted capping pieces to finish off any exposed areas left from modifying the floor to finish it all off.

It was quite a small job but very satisfying to see the two seater car become a four seater. 🙂
