A 1962 Genuine right hand drive 23 window Samba owned by Jez Parsons
- Full bare metal restoration in 2003/4 when it was also first converted to a 2.7 litre Porsche engine and 901 gear box
- Full mechanical overhaul in 2006 by Kustom Revival’s Anthony Winter in conjunction with Carrera Performance when it was upgraded to a 3.6 litre 993 Carrera Porsche engine with the added sting of a 50 shot Nitrous Oxide system

- Full 911 dry sump oil system running twin external mid mounted and front mounted oil coolers
- G50 five speed gear box
- The entire gear shift and shift assembly are custom made 3 2 Carrera rear suspension and trailing arms including torsion tube and shock beam
- Modified rear hubs to run later 4 pot Brembo monoblock calipers and larger discs
- Bespoke front subframe running 3 2 Carrera front lower arms Modified 911 struts and turbo spec torsion bars
- Porsche 993 hydraulic power assisted steering rack operated through a bespoke steering column and T25 transfer box
- Front hubs modified to take Porsche Cayenne discs and Brembo 6 pot monoblock calipers
- Remote servo power assisted brakes
- Front and rear suspension are all tied together with custom chassis brace Running American racing torque thrust twos – It was the first bus in the UK ever to be running them
- First incarnation featured in Volksworld Magazine 2004 but quite frankly it really should be featured again! 😉
