1950's American Diner style Kitchenette for VW T2 Campervan

Nikki, here at Kustom Revival, was asked by a customer to design and build a red and white 19050’s style American diner kitchenette for a Volkswagen Type 2 Campervan. Oliver who owns the bus that we have affectionately nicknamed Jonny 5, brought us three items to be housed within the unit. It felt like a bit like a Ready Steady Cook challenge but for camper interiors. So Nikki worked out the most eiegant solution she could design to accomodate a Porta Potti, a stainless steel water filter and a little gas hob.

Even the cushion was created by Nikki in house at Kustom Revival.

We’re really pleased with how it turned out, and so is Oliver to whom we owe our thanks and gratitude for having faith in Nikki to create this fab little unit.
